Product Description
The compound β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate calcium, abbreviated HMB-CA, CAS: 135236-72-5, β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate (HMB) is widely found in citrus fruits, certain vegetables such as broccoli, legumes such as alfalfa, and certain fish and seafood. Due to the active nature of HMB, Baolon Chemical converted it into calcium salt - β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate (HMB-CA) by synthetic method. Calcium salt is widely used, such as food additives, dietary additives and so on.
1) HMB-Ca can be used to promote muscle growth, enhance immunity, reduce the level of cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in the body to reduce the occurrence of coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease, and enhance the human nitrogen fixation ability and maintain the protein level in the body, which is widely used [1].
2) Can be added to beverages, milk and dairy products, cocoa products, chocolate and chocolate products, candy, baked goods, special dietary foods, the recommended amount is still ≤3 g/day
3) GRAS recognition by the US Food and Drug Administration, the scope of use is medical nutrition food and special diet.

SHELF LIFE:
